Help and Hope in Ferguson
When Carmie’s neighborhood experienced looting and civil unrest, the struggling community was thrust into turmoil. Carmie sought respite from the disruptions and received assistance from United Way’s drop-in center. Wanting to pay it forward, Carmie volunteered, giving back to her community and the organization that was there for her when she needed it most.
