100 Neediest Cases
Assists thousands of families in need during the December holidays by distributing cash and gifts-in-kind donations throughout the greater St. Louis area.
Community Enhancement/One-time Grants
Offers annual one-time grants throughout the region to provide financial support for new and emerging issues for both United Way funded and non-funded local agencies.
Dollar More and Dollar Help
Funded by voluntary contributions from Ameren customers and Ameren Corporation (Dollar More), and Laclede Gas customers and Laclede Gas Company (Dollar Help), these programs help local families stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer and healthy all year long. United Way, Ameren and Laclede Gas share administrative costs so every dollar donated goes to people in need.
Financial Stability Programs
Empowers people to move themselves from poverty to an improved quality of life through financial education, consumer training and access to asset-building resources and supports.
Money Smart Week
Provides hundreds of free classes to kids and adults on money management, setting financial goals, saving for retirement and college, buying a home, relieving debt, building credit, and avoiding identity theft.
Power of Partnerships
Facilitates, connects and strengthens faith-based programs and services in order to link congregational resources and strengths to community needs.
Quality Early Child Care and Education
Supports quality early learning systems and services by working to ensure children are ready to succeed in school by the age of six.
Connects individuals, companies and nonprofits to thousands of reputable service opportunities and helps to build capacity for local volunteering efforts while raising awareness of the value that volunteers bring to our communities.
