Leadership Givers are generous community members who give $1,000 or more annually to the United Way. They significantly deepen the impact for the community, and provide nearly 30 percent of our annual funds raised.

Leadership Giving Societies 

de Tocqueville Society 

The Alexis de Tocqueville Society is an exclusive group for those who pledge $10,000 or more annually. This group raised more than $10 million in 2009 to invest into the greater St. Louis region. Click to find out more or pledge now.

African-American Leadership Society - Charmaine Chapman Society

The premier African-American Leadership initiative in the nation, the Charmaine Chapman Society raised more than $1.7 million in 2009 to help the community. Click to find out more or pledge now.

Multicultural Leadership Society

Created in 2009, Multicultural Leadership Society creates a platform and familiarizes individuals with other key leaders in the region and prepares them for their role in serving our community. They raised more than $750,000 in the group's first year. Click to find out more or pledge now.

Retirees' Society 

Members of the Retirees’ Society are individuals who recognize the importance that philanthropy and volunteerism play in building and strengthening the health of the greater St. Louis area. In its first year in 2009, the Society raised more than $675,000. Click to find out more.

Women's Leadership Society - Power of the Purse

Women's Initiative Next Generation

WINGs allows women to start giving at the $500 level and increase to a Women's Leadership Giving Initiative member in two years, thanks to a match by the Regional Business Council. Click to find out more.
