On average, nearly 50% of students in our 16-county service area are eligible for free/reduced meals at school. During the summer months, however, children often do not have access to these programs, and food bank reserves are low.
This May, join United Way of Greater St. Louis’ Men’s Leadership Society, First Bank and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as we stock the shelves for summer. Bring your canned and non-perishable food to any of these First Bank locations and help keep bellies full all summer long.
Some of our most needed items are:
|Baby bath products||Canned veggies|
|Baby food (plastic containers)||Cold cereal|
|Baby formula||Condiments/sauces (plastic bottles)|
|Boxed/bagged rice products||Feminine products|
|Boxed/bagged pasta products||Fruit snacks|
|Boxed/bottled juice||Granola bars|
|Boxed complete meals||Hot cereal|
|Boxed crackers||Instant mashed potatoes|
|Breakfast/snack bars||Peanut butter|
|Canned beans||Powdered milk|
|Canned fruit||Toilet tissue|
Your donation of nonperishable items will feed hungry people in the greater St. Louis area. Collections will be distributed by the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
