Help Today

Give because you care. Give because you want to help. Give because it makes you feel good. Whatever the reason, please give. The local families in 100 Neediest Cases are real people with real needs. And without you, their holiday season will be so much tougher. Read the 2014 100 Neediest cases in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Featured Case:

Brother & Sister

Submission by Jonathan Strickland, DeSmet Jesuit HS

A 16-year-old high school student has no living parents. He and his little sister are currently living with a great aunt who has limited income and doing the best she can. They are both in need of winter clothing, school uniforms, gloves, hats, and coats. A special gift, clothing and gift cards would help this young man and his family have a wonderful holiday season.

Featured Case:

Father of Two

Submission by Ellen Stonner, Lindbergh High School

Mr. B is a single parent of two and recently out of work. The children’s mother passed away 4 years ago and he has been on his own since. One of his children has special needs and frequent medical concerns. He tries his best, but has struggled since he lost his job. Any support is appreciated so his family can enjoy the holidays.

Student Artwork

Each year, 100 Neediest Cases invites local artists at the high school and college level to submit a piece representing our mission. From hundreds of entries, judges chose 40 pieces of artwork that stood out. Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to everyone who submitted art.
